Return to Riesa
Sascha has made it from the East German provinces to a prestigious literature course in Vienna, where he meets Ali and comes to terms with his repressed homosexuality for the first time. But when his father comes to visit, Sascha realizes what will always separate him from an academic child like Ali. Ashamed of his own origins, Sascha begins to project supposed class differences onto Ali - and in doing so turns the still fresh relationship into a crucial test.
