Taxi, Taxi - 24 hours on the road
A cab ride is actually a pragmatic affair - on the way from A to B, on the fastest route and preferably as cheap as possible. But in a cab ride is much more to experience.
In the confined space of the car, where two strangers meet, a form of closeness and an intense personal exchange emerges. In Taxi, Taxi we abandon ourselves to the conversation, which leads from biographical stations to the description of a - perhaps unexpectedly - hard profession to anecdotes from the everyday life of a taxi driver and individual philosophies of life.
From different perspectives of the drivers, a concrete, subjective and diverse picture of today's society and the city of Vienna emerges - humorous, touching, respectful and always close to our protagonists.
